Kid Connection Vision and Mission 2012

Vision:

Kid Connection's vision is based on John 15:5 and is as follows: to see the children of Life Springs Baptist Church actively engaged in personal relationships with Jesus Christ resulting in the reading and studying of God's Word and the evidence of the fruits of the Spirit in their individual lives.

Mission:

To assist the parents of Life Springs Baptist Church in their God-given responsibility to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4) by intentionally doing the following:

1. Keeping the focus of the program on Jesus Christ and His Word (2 Corinthians 11:3)

2. Creating a 6-year plan of teaching content and memory work to establish a foundation of exposure to Biblical teaching that will be consistent for each child entering the program in K and leaving the program after 5th grade.

3. Prayerfully choosing teachers who display godly character and express a passion for the Word of God.

4. Choosing curriculum that is Bible-centered, that is age-appropriate and engaging, and that supports the program's established plan for Bible teaching.

5. Equipping parents to disciple their children by providing workshops, community outreach opportunities, relationships, and prayer.
